De Villiers made an excellent performance with the bat, scoring 55 runs off 22 balls, with an unbelievable strike rate of 250. His innings got one four and six sixes.
De Villiers is the sixth most powerful run-scorer in the IPL. So far he has scored 4974 runs in 172 matches in IPL with a strike rate of 152.65.
