Ashwell Prince and Rangana Herath, two players with prior international experience, joined the Bangladesh coaching staff.

While they are being consulted for the Bangladesh men’s cricket team, they have also been employed as consultants for other cricket teams

The team from Bangladesh will travel to Zimbabwe for three T20Is, three ODIs, and a Test match.

Rangana Herath and Ashwell Prince, both former Sri Lanka internationals, were named consultants for the Bangladesh national men’s cricket team on Saturday.

The two consultants are Rangana Herath, a former Sri Lanka international spinner, and Ashwell Prince, a South African international batsman. This is before the team departs on a tour of Zimbabwe in July for a three-Test, three ODI, and three T20I matches. He is replaced by the current New Zealand cricket team’s Dan Vettori, who’s fifth in all-time wicket-takers in the history of Test cricket.

Prince is a batting consultant for South Africa, and he has capped as many times for them in the three formats as Jon Lewis, who played most of his international cricket for England.

Prior to becoming the South Africa A side’s interim head coach, the 44-year-old had worked as batting consultant for South Africa A team and had also been their interim head coach.
