India’s women are presently being held in a fourteen-day quarantine in Australia, during which they are being kept in cramped quarters.

The Women’s National Team of India will play three ODI, three T20I, and a one-off Test matches against Australia.

“It’s going to be difficult, so watch out.”

The Indian women’s cricket team is allegedly being kept in hotel rooms smaller than expected, and some of the players are getting angry.

It’s only been four days, but the 14-day quarantine the Indian women’s cricket team is going through is already beginning to take a toll on the players, a BCCI official says. The official, in a statement to PTI, stated that the quarantine facility was too tiny and that players somehow found time to conduct the light exercise. “The rooms are so small they are almost painful. You struggle to walk about and even practice a little. The players have seen other guards in the UK but not here; yet, the atmosphere is tough. The food isn’t great, but it does change daily. The next two weeks will be very difficult “one official declared

Because they were permitted to practice in isolation in the UK following two weeks of quarantine in Mumbai, they had an easier time. The team landed in Brisbane on Monday, having rescheduled the visit due to several constraints caused by COVID-19, which forced the three ODI venues in Sydney, Perth, and Melbourne to move, as well as the three T20 sites.

Starting with the series, all games will be played in Queensland and there is a chance that the series will begin two days later than previously scheduled, on September 21.

The men’s cricket team was allowed to train for a short time in quarantine in Australia, where it traveled this year. The women are confined to their hotel rooms for 14 days, and this includes a period of two weeks in which they are unable to leave. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, Australia has set up some of the strongest travel regulations among countries.

Coach Ramesh Powar took to Twitter and shared a snapshot of his room window and its optimistic message, which translated to “as long as you have a window, life is interesting.”

On top of the strenuous quarantine, the tennis players in question had been quite injured and ill before the Australian Open this year.

Two-time Melbourne champion Victoria Azarenka commented on her breathing problems after her first-round loss. There were around 70 participants that were compelled to go through a 14-day quarantine when they got to the tournament.
