The entire Sri Lankan team celebrated as soon as the winning run was achieved, and all-rounder Chamika Karunaratne was seen performing the “Naagin Dance.”

In a thrilling game between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in Group B of the Asia Cup at the Dubai International Stadium, Dasun Shanaka’s team ultimately prevailed. Bangladesh was eliminated from the competition as a result of Sri Lanka’s successful chase of 184, which was completed in the final over by a margin of two wickets. Shakib-Al-Hasan and company were in the lead for the majority of the match, but in the closing overs, when Ebadot Hossain and Mahedi Hasan bowled no-balls, Sri Lanka received free hit after free hit. Later on, in the same tournament, Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka in a knockout match and once again achieved the Naagin Dance during a heated match.

When it comes to the game, Bangladesh batted first and scored 183/7 in 20 overs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz led the team in scoring with a run of 38 off 226 balls. Wanindu Hasaranga and Chamika Karunaratne each claimed two wickets for Sri Lanka.

Kusal Mendis used all of the lives he was given in the 184-run chase, scoring 60 runs in the process. Ultimately, Sri Lanka was victorious thanks to Mahesh Theekshana and Asitha Fernando.

In their first Super 4s encounter, Sri Lanka will face Afghanistan on Saturday in Sharjah.
