Ajinkya Rahane was declared out of the rest of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 after injuring himself in the second game of the Kolkata Knight Riders’ campaign.
Ajinkya Rahane, who suffered a hamstring injury while playing for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League this year, estimated that it would take him six to eight weeks to fully heal. It was confirmed after KKR’s final game that Rahane would miss the remainder of the tournament due to an injury. “It’s a shame that happened to you. However, my rehabilitation is progressing well. My recovery is going swimmingly. I spent approximately ten days in Bangalore (at the NCA) and will return there for further rehabilitation and recovery. I believe we’ve stayed on schedule “This is what Rahane told the Press Trust of India.
“So for the time being, my primary goal is to improve my health. Make every effort to become physically fit so that you may participate as soon as feasible. Since I have no idea (when) I will be able to get (completely) fit, I am taking it day by day, week by week for the time being “The right-handed batter was inserted into the lineup.
When playing for KKR in the recently finished IPL, Rahane scored 133 runs in seven appearances, but he characterized the Mumbai native’s experience as “excellent”.
“The service I received from KKR was excellent. I had a great day representing KKR, and the crowd was fantastic. It has a family-like feel to it, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make the playoffs, but we still had a great time celebrating each other’s successes “she said.
“They let me to play my game to the fullest extent possible, and I thought it was a unique experience. As a player for Brendon McCullum at Kolkata Knight Riders, I gained a great deal of knowledge.” India’s turnaround in the 2020 Melbourne Test was scripted by Rahane, who produced a match-winning 112 in the first innings.
“That hundred (in Melbourne) was really unforgettable, and I consider it to be one of my best overseas and in Test cricket as a whole.
“When compared to the 36 all outs in Adelaide, the loss of the Test match, and the subsequent hundred in Melbourne, it was even more remarkable.
It was a “special” hundred for him since it helped the team win the Test match, which in turn gave them momentum and helped them win the series, he said.
