According to British media, English cricket legend Andrew Flintoff was transported to the hospital after an accident while filming the hit BBC show Top Gear.
During the filming of the British version of “Top Gear,” cricket legend Andrew Flintoff reportedly had an accident and was transported to the hospital. The 45-year-old was treated at the scene and then sent to the hospital, and his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening, according to the BBC news website. Dunsfold Park Aerodrome, located south of London, serves as the program’s test track, and this event occurred there on Tuesday.
Former England cricketer “Freddie” Flintoff, an all-round legend in his own right, retired at the age of 32 after 79 Test appearances.
Now he has a successful TV career, which includes co-hosting the popular automobile show Top Gear.
A BBC spokeswoman confirmed to the BBC and Sky that “Freddie was injured in an accident on the Top Gear test track this morning (Tuesday) with crew medics visiting the scene immediately.”
More information will be confirmed at a later time, but he was transferred to the hospital for additional treatment.
Flintoff was an instrumental part of England’s Ashes victories in 2005 and 2009.
