Marco Jansen produced one of the best new-ball sessions in the history of the Indian Premier League when SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) opted to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Mumbai (IPL). Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli were both dismissed in the second over by Jansen, who struck three times in the over. RCB was reduced to eight for three after he removed Anuj Rawat with the final ball of the over. As a result, the cricket world’s attention was drawn to Kohli’s dismissal.
Aiden Markram made an excellent diving catch at the second slip after Kohli tried to push Jansen’s delivery for a single.
RCB skipper, who was also disqualified in the previous encounter against Lucknow Super Giants for a first-ball duck, stood stunned after his ejection.
