Earlier this month, KL Rahul, who underwent appendicitis surgery, shared a few Instagram pictures of himself.
Following his appendix surgery in early June, India batsman KL Rahul shared a few pictures of himself on Instagram. One picture shows the wicketkeeper-batsman doing light weight training while wearing a kettlebell around his neck, while the other shows him doing nothing. The third and final image was taken in monochrome and features Rahul, who is looking directly at the camera in a candid, close-up setting. The post with the caption “And yet, we rise” received over 5 lakh likes within an hour, as can be seen in the screenshot below. Bollywood actor Athiya Shetty shared his thoughts alongside many others with the comment section filled to the brim.
On his 29th birthday in April, Athiya has posted a message for the Indian cricketer. To wish Karnataka cricketer Athiya a happy birthday, Athiya shared a couple of mirror selfies in which she wrote: “Thanks for being a part of my journey, happy birthday.”
KL Rahul, the leader of the Kings from Punjab, was found to have acute appendicitis and was admitted to a hospital while participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
Rahul missed the last game for the Punjab-based team in the rich league when he opened the batting and his place was taken by his vice-captain, Mayank Agarwal. After several COVID-19 cases were discovered in the bio-bubble of multiple franchises, the tournament was postponed indefinitely during the middle of the season.
The previously injured KL Rahul has been included in India’s 15-man Test squad for the final round of the World Test Championship and the five-match Test series with England, but the availability of Rahul is contingent on his physical health.
