Pakistan captain Babar Azam continued to lead from the front in the T20 World Cup 2021 by scoring another fifty. Pakistan reached 189/4 in 20 overs thanks to Babar’s 66 in 47 balls. To put it another way, Pakistan’s skipper equaled Virat Kohli and Matthew Hayden’s T20 World Cup record of most fifty-plus scores by a single batter at the tournament. Babar’s half-century equaled Kohli’s feat in the 2014 tournament and Hayden’s four fifties in the first tournament in 2007, which was held in 2007.
This tournament began with an unbeaten 68 runs from 52 balls by Babar against archrivals India. As his team won the match against Afghanistan, he scored 51 runs from 47 balls.
