With England batting only three days into the match because of rain, the match was headed towards a draw. However, on the final day, New Zealand opened the batting on a high note and scored over 100 runs in the first session, giving England a total of 273 runs from 75 overs. England, instead of pursuing the win, chose a more conservative approach. On the last day of the Lord’s Test, former India batsman Wasim Jaffer went on Twitter to share his thoughts on England’s batting.
