The final game of the Indian Premier League will be played on May 28. On June 11, the World Cup of Test Play will immediately follow.

In order to play in the World Test Championship and the impending Ashes series against Australia, top Australian bowler Scott Boland turned down a County contract. Scott Boland became well-known after his spectacular spell in last year’s Ashes series against England. On his Test debut, he became only the second Indigenous Australian man to play a red ball game, and he gave up seven runs while taking six wickets.

The 34-year-old has indicated that he is not concerned with County cricket at the moment but rather the WTC final and the Ashes.

After being offered the chance to play county cricket this year, Boland decided to focus on becoming “a bit fresher” before playing in six Tests in two months.

In spite of physical fatigue, I intend to continue working for as long as possible. My goal is to avoid exhaustion. Boland predicted that fast bowlers would struggle to play in all six games.

I’m definitely getting ready for the game. It might occur early on or it might occur midway through. I have my doubts. However, “I intend to play and am thrilled at the prospect of playing whenever they select me,” he added.

The Indian cricket team is making its second straight appearance in the WTC final. New Zealand won the inaugural World Test Championship in 2017 by beating India.

For the first time ever, Australia will compete in the World Test Championship final. Australia hopes to avenge their Border-Gavaskar 2023 series loss to India, which occurred in February of this year.
