Cricket World Cup: Wicketkeeper-batter and wicketkeeper-bartender Alyshehealy had an excellent day at the office, with an innings of 100 and a role in the West Indies innings.

A 3-0 win over West Indies in the first semi-final of the ICC Women’s World Cup kept Australia undefeated in New Zealand. As a result of this victory, Australia has advanced to the championship match, where it will meet either South Africa or England. Alyssa Healy had an excellent day at work for Australia wicketkeeper-batter Alyssa Healy, who smashed a century and also contributed to the West Indies batting. In the 30th inning, Healy struck out Chedean Nation with a single.

Healy had to go towards a short third man before she could fire the throw, which took enormous effort on her part.

After two hours of rain delayed the start of play, the game was trimmed to 45 overs each.

A 157-run victory for Australia ensured a comfortable victory for their team in the last match.

It was Healy’s brilliant innings of 129 that placed Australia in command at 305 for three after they had been called in to bat first in the tournament.

Both Rachael Haynes (85) and Beth Mooney (43) contributed to the team’s success.

They never seemed at ease in the run chase and kept losing wickets at a regular rate in the West Indies response.

Stefanie Taylor led the way with an impressive 48, but they were bowled out for just 148.

Jess Jonassen collected two wickets in the bowling department.

England will meet South Africa in the second semi-final on Thursday at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
