IPL 2021: Delhi capitals posted a video in which Sam Billings can be seen breaking into Bhangra-like moves while training a resistance band.
Indian Premier League (IPL) is much more than cricket. From Borders to foreign players shaking their feet on Bollywood chartbusters, there is a one-stop-shop for extra entertainment in cricket. After watching Chris Gayle of Punjab Kings dancing to the tunes of Daler Mehndi’s iconic number Tunk Tunk Tun, we now have Delhi Capital’s English recruit Sam Billings bringing a Bhangra twist to his training session. Do not believe us? Take a look at the latest post by Delhi Capital (DC).
The video shows the right-handed batsman acting like bhangra with his stretch band, with a smile on his face. DC tagged Billings with the post that wrote, “It’s a way to learn the Bhangra.”
Twitter users were impressed by the effort. One user wrote, “Bhangra billing fits.” Another user gave his suggestion to help Billings learn dance forms. The video has been viewed 5.1k times so far.
On Instagram, users dropped heart and fire emojis. “Favorite team of all time,” one fan wrote.
Well, Billings is not the only one with a pencil to dance on the team. In another photo, Delhi Capitals players Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw can also be seen shaking their legs. The caption reads, “It’s not like the pair needed an excuse to get into the dance, but it seemed to be after the match-winning partnership.” DC defeated Chennai Super Kings by seven wickets in their first match.
