After SunRisers Hyderabad lost by 61 runs to Rajasthan Royals, Wasim Jaffer slammed Kane Williamson’s captaincy.
It was an easy win for Rajasthan Royals (RR) over SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the MCA Stadium in Pune on Tuesday. While at bat, RR amassed 215/6, before reducing SRH to 149/7 in the field. Kane Williamson’s captaincy was criticized by former India opener Wasim Jaffer after the Sunrisers Hyderabad team’s defeat over the Rajasthan Royals. Jaffer said that Williamson’s captaincy was lacking in tactical awareness. According to his comments to ESPNcricinfo, the club may have performed better in their opening match if they had made a few modifications to their bowling and batting lineups.
