During the IPL 2023 match between Delhi Capitals and RCB, Aman Khan dismissed Faf du Plessis with a brilliant one-handed catch and throw.
On Saturday in Bengaluru, India, during an Indian Premier League (2023) match between the Delhi Capitals and the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Aman Khan startled everyone with a spectacular one-handed diving catch that dismissed the dangerous Faf du Plessis. In the first three overs, Faf looked in terrific touch as he demolished the bowlers. The RCB captain left his crease to smash a Mitchell Marsh delivery past mid-wicket in the sixth over. Aman made a spectacular diving catch to his right to give the Delhi Capitals their much-needed breakthrough after the throw wasn’t as brilliant as he had wanted.
David Warner, captain of the Delhi Capitals, won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Delhi Capitals are in last place because they have not won a single match, while RCB is in eighth. So, each would play to boost their reputation and move up the standings.
Wanindu Hasaranga replaced David Willey as the lone roster adjustment for RCB. Mitchell Marsh took over for Rovman Powell on the DC squad.
While captaining the Delhi Capitals, Warner declared, “We’re going to bowl first” at the toss. The ground crew has done an excellent job. One victory is all it takes to build momentum. During the powerplay, we can’t afford any wickets to fall. We’re different now. Marsh replaces Powell.
Faf du Plessis, captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, remarked at the toss, “Would have done the same. In the second inning, things should start to improve. In most cases, this is still a solid inning. It will be crucial for Virat and me to make an early assessment of the situation. Death overs are notoriously tough to defend in. When batting at home, we’ve been solid. Select your top hitters and bowlers. Willey is replaced by Hasaranga.
