Usman Khawaja
Usman Khawaja's Test cricket form has been great recently.

Usman Khawaja has been in sensational form for Australia in Test cricket, scoring 3443 runs at an average of 45.30 with 11 hundred in 48 matches before the Pakistan series.

Since making a comeback to the Australian Test team, Usman Khawaja has been in sensational form. A year ago in Sydney, he scored two hundred on his return from injury and hasn’t looked back since. At one point during Australia’s first tour of Pakistan in 24 years, the opener scored one century and two scores in the nineties while playing like a machine. Unbeaten 44 was the only other score he had in the tour thus far.

First innings 160 and 44* in the second innings in the second Test match made up for his first-innings 97 in the first Test match, which was just short of a century.

He scored 91 runs in the third Test, which is still going on.

Khawaja has amassed 647 runs at a staggering average of 107.83 since his return to Test cricket five weeks ago.

Khawaja has amassed 3443 runs in 48 Tests, with an average of 45.30 and 11 hundred, prior to the current match against Pakistan.

2019 away Ashes series, which finished in a 2-2 draw, led to the dismissal of this player from the team.

His good performances in the Sheffield Shield prompted him to return to the squad in 2021-22, but he was left out of the playing XI as Australia continued with Marcus Harris and Travis Head in the middle order.

However, when Head was unable to play in the third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground due to COVID-19, he was given the opportunity to step in.

First innings, he smashed an unassailable 137, followed by a solitary 101 in the second.
