Fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar took Twitter to report he did not want to play Test Cricket on Saturday. For the upcoming England tour in India, Bhuvneshwar was not chosen and left many shell-shocked and a massive wave of the social media. In his message, the fast bowler said “regardless of team choices,” he always has prepared himself to represent the nation in all three formats and will continue to do the same in the future. “Suggestion” ended Bhuvneshwar’s tweet, “Please don’t write your assumptions on ‘sources’!”
To clarify things, I have always worked out and will continue to do the same with all three formats, irrespective of team selection. Proposal – please don’t write your “sources” assumptions!” Tweeted by Bhuvneshwar.
Bhunvneshwar, who played 21 Indian trials, last appeared in South Africa in January 2018 in the longest format. In recent years, the seamer has sustained many injuries and has missed some significant test series, both at home and abroad.
In just 37 innings, Bhuvneshwar collected 63 wickets and boasts a respectable 26.90. It also has four red-ball-format five-wicket trucks.
He also featured last time in the now postponed SunRisers Hyderabad Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2021 and collected three wickets from five outings.
