German Chancellor Olaf Scholz met with the men and women of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team on Sunday during a visit to the M Chinnaswamy cricket stadium. After meeting with the RCB men’s and women’s teams and the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) officials, Scholz had a 15-minute conversation with both groups. Sudhakar tweeted later: “Today, we had the honor of welcoming the German Chancellor, His Excellency @OlafScholz, to Bangalore at Kempegowda International Airport. We haven’t had a German chancellor visit India since we established our Inter-Governmental Consultation (IGC) in 2011.” Scholz is in India for a brief visit of two days.
