Pakistan’s cricket team trainer Misbah-ul-Haq tested Covid-19 positive and is scheduled to quarantine 10 days in Jamaica.
Coach Misbah-ul-Haq from Pakistan has tested Covid-19 positively and has been quarantining Jamaica in ten days, the cricket board of his country revealed on Wednesday. “Misbah has proven positive and, as such, won’t go to Lahore later today with his side. Asymptomatic, Misbah will now be subjected to a 10-day quarantine, after which he will proceed to Pakistan, “That was a statement. The announcement came less than 24 hours after Pakistan defeated the West Indies in 109 Kingston runs, taking the second test and racing the two-game series 1-1.
In September 2019, Misbah, 47, also captain during their days, took over as head coach of the national team.
He has played 75 Tests and 162 ODIs, amassing over 5,000 runs in each format.
“Misbah was the only member of the Pakistan squad to fail two PCR tests prior to departure. All other members will leave Jamaica later today (Wednesday) on schedule; “Added the statement of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
