They got engaged on a trip on January 1, 2020, and then tied the knot during the COVID-19 quarantine. As the year progressed, the couple welcomed a son, whom they named Agastya. In terms of his professional life, Hardik will be rejoining the India team for their upcoming ODI series against Australia on March 17. BCCI announced on Sunday that Rohit Sharma, the team’s normal captain, will miss the opening game due to “family commitments,” thus he would take over as captain.
Now, Hardik has been in charge of the Indian Twenty20 team. In the Twenty20 International format, he may be considered for captaincy in the future. Everyone had a more favorable impression of him as captain after he guided the Gujarat Titans to the 2022 Indian Premier League championship.
