Peshawar Zalmi all-rounder Rashid Khan took 5 for 20 against Lahore Qalandars

Rashid Khan “damaged our back” as says Shoaib Malik of Peshawar Zalmi.

The Lahore Qalandars eventually won by 10 runs.

Rashid Khan, of Lahore Qalandars, got a five-wicket haul for Lahore Qalandars, helping Lahore Qalandars to win by 10 runs over Peshawar Zalmi.

pointing out that Rashid Khan’s 5 for 20 was the true reason behind Peshawar Zalmi’s loss in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Afghan spin bowler “broke our back,” according to Malik. “We gave the opposition a few more runs in death overs, and that is the area I believe we can improve. We did not expect them to make it all the way to 170. We started well in the batting department, but it was missing a wrist-spinner, who could have made a significant impact when the innings were prolonged “Malik’s words were attributed to ESPNCricinfo following the match.

Malik added, “Nonetheless, we have to acknowledge how Ben Dunk and Tim David batted and despite the difficult pitches, they managed to score runs with excellent strike rates to set a high target.”

A record leg-spinner bowled the most expensive four-over spell for any spinner in the history of the sport. His spell included five wickets for 20 runs in the first over, with 15 of those runs coming in the over’s first three deliveries.

With ten points, the Qalandars now lead the table. Meanwhile, Zalmi is still sitting on the fourth place with six points.

With Wahab Riaz out of the team due to his failure to perform on the day, Pakistan’s captain Shoaib Malik attempted to lead from the front by scoring a fighting 73 to get the side back into the game. However, he failed, and Riaz had to return after he had strangled his stumps in the 16th over.

As soon as Malik was dismissed for a duck, his innings was finished.

Malik stated that regardless of the many more runs we allowed, it was Rashid Khan who finally ended our innings by getting five wickets.

He went on to say, “With all those better-hitting batsmen from all over the world, it was these batsmen who put the game out of reach for the other team.”

This win follows a 1 for 9 in four overs, as well as a five-ball 15 not-out in a crucial victory for the Qalandars.

He also picked up the Man-of-the-Match trophy.
