To help get their bodies warmed up, the IPL 2021 team from Chennai, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), played a game of football prior to their upcoming game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
As they geared up for their upcoming IPL 2021 game, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) engaged in football training sessions while in the United Arab Emirates. On Friday, MS Dhoni-led Team Mumba own reigning champions Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Dhoni, Deepak Chahar, and Faf du Plessis posted some photos from the training session, showing off their skills in football. In the video post for the last home game of the season, the Kings uploaded photos that stated, “Keep it cool like the Kings! #WhistlePodu #Yellove.”
Take a look at these photos:
CSK began their IPL 2021 campaign with a 20-run victory over MI in Dubai. Ruturaj Gaikwad blasted an unbeaten 88 off 58 balls for CSK, who started the chase at 156 for six.
Rohit Sharma, who led by example, could not maintain the hitting order after they set a target of 157 runs. They were only able to provide 136 for eight overs in their entire innings.
Dhoni was praised by Virender Sehwag, despite only managing three runs in the game. Former India opener Virender Sehwag said in an interview with Cricbuzz that his captaincy was right on the money.
captaincy was perfect. He doesn’t make plans in advance and then shows up to get involved. Said Sehwag: “He makes decisions on the basis of the current game situation and what he can change.”
A good comparison is if someone is confident enough with spin bowling, he chooses to send a fast bowler instead.” If a batsman is happy with the pace of the game, he will employ a spinner.
The manner in which Dwayne Bravo was utilized by Dhoni also impressed him. This senior all-rounder took three wickets in four overs, and while her team was on the attack, she allowed only 25 runs to be scored.
Bravo had four infielders in the circle to the infield side. That was an intelligent move. To ensure that singletons are kept away, Sehwag explained.
