In the Asia Cup on Sunday, the Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team was defeated by Pakistan.
In a Super 4 match on Sunday against Pakistan at the Asia Cup, Rohit Sharma scored 28 runs from 16 balls. The captain of the Indian cricket team then properly rotated his bowlers and controlled the game until the final. But finally, India could not hold Pakistan to a total of 181 runs. Following the match, Rohit Sharma was spotted interacting with fans and onlookers in front of the Dubai International Stadium. The India captain responded, “Arey Haath Toh Choro,” when one of the spectators continued grabbing hold of Rohit’s hand.

In the game, Pakistan’s innings were led by the ever-reliable Mohammed Rizwan (71 off 51 balls), but it was left-handed hitter Nawaz, who is more well-known for his orthodox left-arm spin, who delivered the game-winning blow. India didn’t account for his 42 off 20 balls, and there was no game plan for him, so Khushdil Shah and Iftikhar Ali finished off a well-deserved victory with one ball remaining. The Indians were caught off guard by the 73-run partnership between Rizwan and Nawaz in just 6.5 overs in the middle of the innings.
The two bowlers who were outstanding last Sunday against Pakistan, Yuzvendra Chahal (1/43 in 4 overs) and Hardik Pandya (1/44 in 4 overs), were pedestrian on the day as Nawaz took both of them to the cleaners. As a result of Nawaz’s six fours and two sixes, Pakistan’s 87 from their combined eight overs won the game for them.
While Pandya’s short-ball strategy failed, Rizwan and Nawaz took Chahal to task as the lines on Rohit Sharma’s forehead deepened with each pass over.
By the time Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s bowling caused Nawaz to be holed out in the deep, he had already done enough psychological damage to the Indian attack.
