Shubman Gill was spotted chatting with batting legend Sachin Tendulkar after the game.
Cricket fans were stunned when Gujarat Titans were propelled to their second consecutive IPL championship game by Shubman Gill, who scored his third century of the season. With the help of Gill’s 129 off of 60 balls, Gujarat reached 233-3, and then successfully defended their score by bowling out five-time winners Mumbai for 171 in 18.2 overs in the final playoff, which got underway late in Ahmedabad because of rain. The 23-year-old tore through the opposition attack with 10 sixes and a second-wicket stand of 138 with Sai Sudharsan (who made 43) in the largest cricket arena in the world.
Gill was spotted chatting it up in the dugout with MI’s coach and batting legend Sachin Tendulkar after the game. Gill and Tendulkar’s exchange has been widely shared online.

When Tim David dropped England fast bowler Chris Jordan, Gill, who is seen as the future of Indian batting, took full advantage of the opportunity.
With the run, he now has 851, more than anybody else in the current season. He was also successful in taking back the Orange Cap from Faf du Plessis, the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Gill, who was named the game’s most valuable player, remarked, “I think this was probably my best innings so far in the IPL.”
Hardik Pandya, captain of his team, said of his opener, “Today’s innings were one of the finest, he never looked pressured. It was like being hit by a volley of baseballs. His future in both international and franchise cricket is bright.
