ICC T20I Rankings: India’s Shafali Verma kept her batting crown, while Sophie Devine joined England’s Natalie Sciver as the top-ranked all-rounder.
In the latest T20I rankings revealed on Tuesday, India’s opening batswoman Shafali Verma retained her top status while New Zealand all-rounder Sophie Devine moved up to the joint top. Devine also moved up five spots in the batting standings. A class act in the third T20I at Hove, Devine scored 50 runs and returned 2/26. This has moved her up to equal #1 all-rounder with England’s Natalie Sciver.
Also moving up the ranks are India’s Deepti Sharma, Australia’s Ellyse Perry, and West Indies’ Hayley Matthews. Stafanie Taylor fell three spots to 7.
Lizelle Lee of South Africa jumped three spots to seventh in the batting rankings. Devine climbed to fifth place.
Megan Schutt of Australia climbed two places to number two on the bowling charts. Jess Jonassen moved up to #4 in the standings.
Hayley Matthews, who shared the most wickets in the T20I series against South Africa, has risen seven places to the top 15.
The third T20I between England and New Zealand will allow players from both sides to improve their rankings.
