BCCI President Sourav Ganguly will undergo stenting at the Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata on Thursday.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India, Sourav Ganguly, underwent a stenting procedure on Wednesday at Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata on Thursday. This process is done by Dr. Famous cardiologist Dr. Aftab Khan Dr. in the presence of Goddess Shetty. Saptarshi Basu and Dr. Will be done with Saroj Mandal. Ganguly underwent angioplasty a month ago. Earlier on Wednesday, he visited Apollo Gleneagles Hospital in Kolkata for a cardiac checkup. The hospital stated that all its important parameters are constant.

Woodlands Hospital said, “He had chest problems today and was taken to Apollo today. Dr. Saptarshi Basu and Dr. Saroj Mondal are attending. Dr. Aftab Khan will be stenting tomorrow in the presence of Dr. Devi Shetty.”

Apollo Hospitals previously said, “Sourav Ganguly, 48 years old, has come for a checkup of his heart condition. There has been no change in his parameters since his last hospitalization and his vital parameters are stable. “

The former India captain spent five days in the hospital on 7 January after being declared medically fit by doctors.

Dr. Rupali Basu, MD & CEO Dr. Rupali Basu said, “Mr. Ganguly is clinically fit. He slept well and had his meals. He wanted to stay in the hospital one more day. So he would go home tomorrow. This is his personal decision.” Woodlands Hospital said.

The doctor had also mentioned that the former India captain would be monitored daily at home after being discharged.
