The 31-year-old batsman made 28 runs from 52 balls, including four fours, before being dismissed.

Petersen’s half-century helped the Proteas reach their target of 210 runs. In his 166 at-bats, he scored 72 runs, with nine fours to his credit.
A major drop-off in production occurred after Keegan’s departure. South Africa was bowled out for 210 in response to India’s first innings total of 223.
India’s second-inning openers, Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul were once again early casualties for the hosts. The visitors will be looking to gain momentum and extend their lead. After scoring a half-century in the first innings, Kohli in particular will be looking to continue his good form.
