Due to minor groin pain, former captain Virat Kohli was unable to take part in the first ODI. Bumrah responded to a question concerning Virat Kohli’s fitness by saying: “I don’t know how bad the injury is because I didn’t play in the last match. Hopefully, he’ll be ready for the next game. I have no idea how serious his ailment is.”
The cooperation between Mohammed Shami and Bumrah, when asked about it, Bumrah said: “When Shami and I bowl together, there is always a sense of teamwork in the air.
