Ex-Indian batsman Virender Sehwag is the latest to voice his displeasure with the recently released film Adipurush.
Sehwag took to Twitter to ask, “Kattappa ne Bahubali ko kyun maara tha: Adipurush dekhkar pata chala.” I finally understood why Katapa had to kill Baahubali after watching Adipurush.
A reference to Prabhas’s 2015 smash hit Baahubali: The Beginning was embedded in Sehwag’s tweet. The film’s climax left viewers wondering why the protagonist, Baahubali, was murdered by his own uncle, Kattappa.
The All India Cine Workers Association has demanded that an FIR be filed against the film’s producer, director, and writer in a letter sent to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Mumbai Police today.
